History
Formed soon after the completion of the war in 1945 by a group of motoring enthusiasts whorealised that the Vintage cars they owned had very special features worth preserving. They liked to compete in their cars and so set the scene for the future.
The Club has prospered over the years through the endeavours and involvement of its members and has now celebrated its 50th Anniversary. The Gatehouse clubrooms were established as the clubs permanent home and are now the venue for the Monthly Member Meetings.
The VSCC caters for quality cars manufactured prior to 1940. The Vintage class covers the period from 1919 to 1930 and the Post Vintage class covers the period from 1931 to 1939. Historic racing cars and cars manufactured prior to 1919 are also welcome. You will be encouraged to participate in your eligible vehicles.
Member activities include:
Hill Climbs, Rallys, Trials, Circuit Racing, Social Events, Library Access
Monthly Meetings are held on the second Friday of each month at the rear of 110 Gatehouse St, Parkville at 8.00pm.
